New Member Program
Our five-to-eight-week Bonds of Sisterhood program helps new members learn about Fraternity and chapter life and the responsibilities of membership. These responsibilities include upholding Alpha Xi Delta ideals and standards, meeting financial obligations, pursuing personal and academic excellence and participating in chapter activities.
A Letter From New Member Education Chair:
Dear New Members,
Congratulations on your decision to join a Greek-lettered organization! I hope that in deciding, you’ve found that Alpha Xi Delta closely coincides with the ideals, values, and principles that make you who you are today.
Being in a sorority allows you to have a family outside of the one you grew up in, with the Inter-Greek Council put in place to serve as your community. As in any other community, you have the opportunity to make new friends, create wonderful memories, and most importantly develop leadership skills that will in-turn build up your community.
You should remember that being Greek is about recognizing our similarities while embracing the fact that we are all different and unique. So when you wear your letters wear it with pride and know that you represent more than yourself. Take this tremendous opportunity to show everyone the positive aspects of Greek Life.
